Senior Men 
Eltham Wildcats 99 defeated Corio Bay 71
B. Waldren 22 points/8 rebounds, J. Aver 18 points, J. Sykes 12 points/12 rebounds

Eltham produced a dominant display of basketball on Saturday night down at Corio Bay. Scoring 52 points in the paint the Wildcats pushed the lead to 36 in the third period and never looked back. Wildcat Youth players Scherf & O’ Connor were brilliant off the bench as was Yammouni who saw his first minutes in State Championship Men scoring scoring 4 points on 100% shooting from the field.

Eltham Wildcats 93 defeated Casey 90
J. Aver & I. Bonhomme 22 points, B. Waldren 13 points

Eltham withstood a final quarter rally by the Casey Cavs on Sunday to secure a massive three point win at home. After a slow first quarter the Wildcats scored 35-21 points in the second period which seemed to take the wind out of the visitors sail. But a 28 point final quarter from the Cavs set up an epic final two minutes that would see Casey have the final shot of the game to send it into overtime. Eltham would force a travelling violation behind outstanding hustle team defence to secure a vital victory.

Senior Women 
Eltham Wildcats 67 defeated by Hume City 75
J. O’Shea 14 points, J. Kitto 13 points/5 assists,  A. Kunek & L. Bontempelli 10 points

The visiting Broncos jumped to an early 11 point lead but the Wildcats fought hard on both ends to cut the lead to only 5 at the main break. A Jordyn O’Shea basket cut the deficit to 3 at the start of the third but that was as close as the Wildcats would get as Hume City countered every Wildcat run and held on to an 8 point win.

Youth Men
Eltham Wildcats 93 defeated Altona Gators 74
J. Guley 22 points, O. Magbegor & M. Scherf 13 points

A slow start from the Wildcats would see them down 14-18 after the first period but that would quickly change as Eltham won the next three periods convincingly by locking down on their trademark defence forcing the Gators into 21 turnovers. A great minute spread saw all Wildcat players hit the court and contribute.

Youth Women
Eltham Wildcats 55 defeated by Camberwell Dragons 67
E. Horsley 25 points/16 rebounds, O . Wightman 9 points/9 rebounds, J. Weddle 6 points

The Wildcats continue to improve and it showed once again on Sunday against the Dragons. A season high from Ellen Horsley (25 & 16) lead the way for Eltham who were brilliant in the final three quarters including a 14-11 third period.  26 turnovers for Eltham was the difference in the game.
