VJBL Champions

Congratulations to our Eltham Wildcat Championship U14.5, U14.6 & U20.3 boys who have won their respective VJBL Premierships last weekend.

Eltham U14.5 55 def Melbourne U14.5 30

After setting a goal to win the final last November coach Sean Clarke praised the hard work his team put in.

“The boys had a terrific game and all of them contributed to the win. Executed both offensively & defensively like we planned at training and managed to finish off the year with a well-deserved 25-point win. I couldn’t be prouder of the boys”.

Eltham U14.6 25 def Warrandyte U14.3 24

The Wildcats lead for majority of the game and with a three-point lead in the final minute Warrandyte cut to lead to one and had a contested shot to win the game but did not connect giving our boys a one-point victory.

Coach Warren Attard couldn’t wipe the smile off his face praising his teams effort.

“12 months of hard work paid off. I am so proud of the boys keeping it together in a tough, tight contest that went to the very end.”

Eltham U20.3 51 def Altona U20 43

The Wildcats led the whole game, locking down defensively on Altona’s shooters not allowing them easy shots and dominating the rebounds which was the difference in the game.
