Regular Season Fill-In Players
Please use this form if your team has five or fewer players available and requires a fill-in for a regular round. We will aim to confirm player availability by Friday prior to the game.Request a Fill-In Player
- This form is only for grading and regular season games (Rounds 1 – 15).
- Submission does not guarantee a fill-in will be found.
- EDJBA By-Laws apply: All fill-in players must comply with the eligibility rules outlined in the EDJBA By-Laws (see Section 11 – Fill-In Players).
- The Club will handle all communication with EDJBA regarding player approvals if needed.
- For finals to request a fill-in please call the office.

Winter 2026 Finals Information
Finals Special Requests
If your team has a player or coach unavailable during finals due to a significant commitment, you may submit a Finals Special Request for consideration.
What is a Valid Special Request?
Special requests may be considered when there is a genuine change in availability for a player or coach, including:
- Change in work commitments
- Family wedding
- Player participating in another sporting final
- School sport commitments
- Language school commitments
- Other significant events affecting team availability
What is NOT a Valid Special Request?
The following requests will not be considered:
- Wanting an early game or not wanting a late game
- Sibling commitments
- Requests to allow a parent to attend multiple children’s games
- General game time preferences
Important Information
- All legitimate requests will be considered; however, approval cannot be guaranteed.
- If the opposing team has an existing approved time request, it will take priority over a new special request.
- Requests must be supported by a genuine reason and sufficient detail.
- Requests submitted after the applicable deadline will not be considered, as late changes delay the release of finals fixtures.

Finals Fill In Player Requests
If your team requires a fill-in player during the final’s series, please contact the Club as soon as possible.
Please be aware that the process for obtaining a fill-in player during finals differs from the regular season. All fill-in player requests must be submitted through the Club and approved by the EDJBA. Approval is assessed by the EDJBA on a week-by-week basis for each finals round.
Please note: Teams are not permitted to source their own fill-in players for finals.

Junior Domestic Medal Collection
Junior Domestic Medal Collection
Junior Domestic medals are now available for collection from the Montmorency Secondary College Office.
Each team will receive three team medals.
Under 9 teams will also receive a Jason Maywald Participation Award medal for every player.

Please note that support staff can only issue your team’s medals once the nomination form has been submitted and proof of submission has been provided.
Coaches' Reports and Reimbursements
Coach Reports
As we begin planning for next season, we ask that all coaches complete a Coach Report for each team they coached. These reports are essential for creating balanced teams and making informed player placements in future seasons.
Coaches who wish to apply for reimbursement must submit a Coach Report.

Team Manager: $20.00
Rebates will be processed within 2–3 weeks after 14/09/2026.

Please note: during grading, fixtures will be released weekly (first 6 rounds) and during the regular season games are normally released in batches of 2-3 but can still be released weekly.

Required uniform items available from the Eltham Wildcats Uniform Shop: Eltham domestic singlet (reversable red and black) & black Eltham domestic shorts.
For any Wildcats apparel including, t-shirts, backpacks, hoodies, training singlets, socks and more head to our online iAthletic store.
If two players on a team have the same number (highlighted in yellow on the team lists), our policy is that the player who has played for Eltham Wildcats Basketball Club the longer retains their number.
The player changing numbers can bring their singlet to the Admin Office at Montmorency Secondary College (Basketball Stadium – Upstairs, Level 1). They will be issued a swap singlet in the same size with a different number. At the end of the season, the ‘swap top’ can be returned and the player’s original singlet will be returned. Alternatively, players may choose to purchase a new singlet directly through the Uniform Shop.
In games against other clubs where there is a colour clash, the team listed first on the fixture should change their singlet. If they are unable to do so, we will.
In games involving two Eltham teams, the team listed first on the fixture must change singlets.
