Experienced higher-level referees may also become referee educators. This enables them to assist all of our referees and particularly our newer referees with their development and skills.

Accreditation may be gained through Basketball Victoria approved courses.

Eltham Wildcats has an extensive team of referee educators who are frequently in attendance at our games.

We have had referee educators progress from our Junior Domestic ranks to NBL1 grand finals, just as referees do.
