Across a number of session options, our Mission is to nurture the next generation of basketball stars and foster a love for the game at every level through a supportive and inclusive environment for all to learn, grow and enjoy basketball.
Is an introductory basketball program for girls aged 5-10 years old of all abilities providing an opportunity to learn the key fundamentals of basketball. This session is perfect for girls to learn and play basketball in a fun and friendly environment. This is highlighted by;
Skill development – our carefully designed programs focus on skill development, ensuring that players not only have fun on the court, but also enhance their abilities in the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing and teamwork.
Participants can purchase an Aussie Hoops X Eltham Wildcats Pack containing a size 5 ball, singlet and t-shirt.

The Game Ready Program is designed to help transition Cub Squad participants to our Saturday Domestic (EDJBA) competition. EDJBA operates a Winter Season and a Summer Season, which commence in Terms 2 and 4. This program is suitable for players aged 7-10 and players who have previously completed at least one term of Ford Aussie Hoops Cub Squad. The aim of Game Ready is to develop participants knowledge and skills of the game by structuring our sessions with training and game simulations. The focus is on rules of the game, as well as drills and games to best support players transitioning to Competition. This is highlighted by;
Sessions consist of half training and half gameplay.
Focus is on teaching players the basic rules of basketball to help with transition to competition.
Suitable for players aged 7-10 and who have completed at least one term of Ford Aussie Hoops Cub Squad.
