First Aid

Teams are responsible for their own FIRST AID equipment (it is advised that all teams carry their own first aid kit with them). Each venue has a limited first aid kit, which may be of some benefit if required. Each team’s Registration Fee has an insurance component which provides a limited cover through Basketball Victoria’s Insurance Scheme. Players are advised to carry their own health insurance.

It is unacceptable for players to abuse referees. Teams whose players abuse officials and or opposition teams will be counselled and where necessary penalties applied including exclusion from the competition where appropriate. If teams wish to make a complaint about the standard of refereeing then this should be lodged in writing and will be forwarded to the Referees Advisor for action.
