Eltham Senior Midweek Competitions (Incl. PMBA) 

NEW STADIUM COMING EARLY 2022!

Building on our new 3 court Montmorency stadium has been underway since early 2021 with it to be completed early 2022. This will create 5 courts down at Montmorency Secondary and will be the hub for our Senior Domestic program.

AUTUMN 2022 SEASON:

Midweek Senior Competitions are:

Mondays Starting – 17th January 2022 (Over 30 Mens and Open Women)
Tuesdays Starting – 18th January 2022 (Open Men)
Wednesdays Starting- 18th January 2022 (Mixed Teams)
Thursdays Starting – 19th January 2022 (Open Men)

There are 4 rounds of grading in order to create competitive competitions.

Finals for these competitions will conclude Late June

HOW TO REGISTER:

REGISTRATIONS CLOSED. (THERE IS STILL A CHANCE TO ENTER LATE, EMAIL jacob@elthamwildcats.net.au)

1.The Enrolment fee is $200 ($100 is bond)

2. Returning Teams have a discount code to use, due to the cancelled 2021 season, please email jacob@elthamwildcats.net.au if you do not have this code.

3. All non registered playing member need to pay a $39 membership fee which lasts 12 months and covers all Basketball Victoria competitions

The team sheet fee is: $75.00 per team. Where a game has only one referee officiating teams can request a $5 refund by emailing Jacob the competition administrator within 7 days of the game.

Full season payment will be made possible once grading finishes. This option will be communicated with teams via Email.

The fee for a notified walkover is: $120.00 and un-notified: $150.00

For a walkover to be deemed notified, the Eltham Basketball office must be notified via call by 12pm on the day of the game.

This amount is payable within 7 days of the walkover. Match points will not be awarded until any overdue fines are paid. Teams giving more than two walkovers may be excluded from the competition at the discretion of the competitions organisers.

First Aid

Teams are responsible for their own FIRST AID equipment (it is advised that all teams carry their own first aid kit with them). Each venue has a limited first aid kit, which may be of some benefit if required. Each team’s Registration Fee has an insurance component which provides a limited cover through Basketball Victoria’s Insurance Scheme. Players are advised to carry their own health insurance.

Team Behaviour

It is unacceptable for players to abuse referees. Teams whose players abuse officials and or opposition teams will be counselled and where necessary penalties applied including exclusion from the competition where appropriate. If teams wish to make a complaint about the standard of refereeing then this should be lodged in writing and will be forwarded to the Referees Advisor for action.
