As Australia’s largest junior basketball club, the Eltham Wildcats is keen to attract corporate support from like-minded local businesses who understand the importance of providing sporting opportunities to the residents of the local community. We are proud to provide mutually beneficial partnerships that will help our partners grow their business and support in the community.
Our competitions are thriving, with 5,200 players participating across our range of programs which are offered to those from 3-70+ years of age. At the representative level, we have four senior teams (two men and two women) which compete in the State Championship competitions. Further to this we have fifty-four teams (the most of any association) in the Victorian Junior Basketball Leagues (VJBL); the representative state competition for those aged U12-U20.
Different to other sporting clubs, the Wildcats prides itself on developing the personal skills of our members. We offer a range of programs for our members including First Aid Courses, Mental Health First Aid, Food Handling certificates and more! We also do in-house training for teenagers, after which we then provide them with casual employment for the club, roles that are significant in the Wildcats providing the service to the community. These roles are in venue management, event management, media, hospitality and retail, aside from positions that are basketball specific.
The Wildcats can offer a range of packages that can help your business grow in the North Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, we can tailor a package to meet your needs and provide the best return on investment for your company.
