We’re thrilled to have you coming to our 60th Anniversary Celebration, a milestone event that promises to be unforgettable! Join us for a day packed with exciting activities, including memorabilia displays, a pop-up merchandise store, market stalls, fairy floss, popcorn, face painting, and more. Here’s all the information you need for a smooth and enjoyable experience:
Event Overview
- Date: Sunday July 20th
- Time: 11.00am to 3.00pm
- Location: Montmorency Secondary College
- Activities: Memorabilia displays, pop-up merchandise store, market stalls, fairy floss, popcorn, face painting, basketball clinics, and a formal presentation.
Parking Information
- Reserved Parking: Underground parking on Simms Road is reserved for:
- Life Members
- Individuals with limited mobility
- Staff
- Big V Players (Eltham and Rangers)
- Game Day Staff
- General Parking: Due to the large number of attendees, we kindly ask everyone to be respectful of the reserved underground parking area.
- Please note that parking on Simms Road will be limited, as there is also a football games taking place on Sunday. We encourage you to consider using alternative parking options:

Entry Details
To accommodate the large number of attendees from our wonderful community, each guest will receive three coupons upon arrival:
- One for a complimentary drink (water, soft drink, tea, or coffee)
- One for a complimentary plate of food
- One for a complimentary serving of cotton candy or popcorn
Please line up and present your coupon to our staff. Redeem drink coupons at the canteen and food coupons at the banquet tables.
If you would like additional drinks, you are welcome to purchase them from the canteen.
From 3.30pm normal canteen functions will resume in preparation for the Big V Elimination Final.
Lunch Arrangements
- Time: 11:30am
- Locations:
- Life Members: Buffet in the upstairs function room. (Reserved for Life Members)
- General Attendees: Buffet tables on Court 3, with seating available in the stands.
- Catering: Provided by Melbourne Spit Hire, offering a delicious buffet with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
Formal Presentation
- Time: 1:30 PM – 2.30 PM (approximately)
- Location: Court 1
- Details: All attendees wishing to view the presentation should take seats in the stands.
Basketball Clinics
- Hosted by our NBL1 players, two sessions will be offered on courts 4 and 5:
- Session 1: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Session 2: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
- Open to all attendees—come learn from the pros!
Elimination Finals:
We’re excited to share that our Big V Youth Men’s team has made it to the finals! They’ll be taking on the Dandenong Rangers this Sunday at 4:00 PM.
This game is included in your tickets we encourage you to stay and cheer on our rising stars as they compete in this must-win match.
