MOST IMPORTANT – THE ONLY PERSON YOU MAY APPROACH TO ASK QUESTIONS OR MAKE REQUESTS FOR CHANGES IS YOUR AGE GROUP CONVENOR BY EMAIL.
NO COACH IS PERMITTED TO MAKE YOU ANY OFFER OF A DIFFERENT TEAM AND YOU MAY NOT APPROACH ANOTHER COACH. THE OFFICE AND OTHER PERSONNEL WILL ONLY REFER YOU TO THE AGE GROUP CONVENOR.
When examining team numbers, please note the following: –
1.In many cases up to seven teams are of a roughly the same level, for instance Teams 3-9 in Under 14, due to friendship groups, mixes of teams with older players and younger but very well performed players and so on.
2. We often find that teams with a lower initial number ranking are stronger than many teams above them.
3. Sometimes talented players are in teams that are ranked lower than their performance deserves because of friendship requests, training requests or team balance considerations.
4. Players who are bottom age find normally that they are in lower teams than previously.
We understand some requests/inquiries may be due to training time issues (sometimes these requests are not clear in the online registration).
If a name does not appear on any team list it might be because the player has not been enrolled. No player can participate in a team until enrolled. Also some late enrollers may be on a waiting list.
IF YOU DO WISH TO PROCEED WITH A REQUEST TO REVIEW SELECTION OR CORRECTION OF ERROR, PLEASE CONTACT ONLY THE AGE GROUP CONVENOR BY EMAIL AS LISTED IN ATTACHMENT.
The convenor will record your requests, and convey them to the selection committees. We will respond as soon as we consider that most requests have arrived, so they can be reviewed together. We emphasise talk only to the Age Group Convenor. Private arrangements with coaches will not be endorsed.
