The Eltham Wildcats Basketball Club invites registrations for our 2023/24 Junior Championship Trials. This is the representative program for junior players, which competes in the Victoria Junior Basketball Leagues (VJBL). Registrations can be completed here: CLICK HERE
Consistently Eltham is in the top 3 for associations in teams entered in the VJBL, but also for number of teams qualifying for the Victorian Championship division, restricted to just the best 20 teams in Victoria in each age group.

Trials will begin on Sunday October 1st. A specific schedule for each age group will be advertised shortly, but we do reserve the right to change these times should it be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as increased enrolments. To ensure you receive this information, it is important you register for the trials.
During the trials process you will receive the below:
– Minimum of three (max of 6) team training sessions
– Minimum of three matches
These sessions are overseen by our age group coaches who are then able to make team selections.
We do charge a $55 fee for trials, which covers the costs of the additional courts and referees required for our thorough process.
Please note a late fee of $30 will apply following Friday September 15th to cover the additional administrative pressures that late enrolments cause to the trials organisation process.
Under 20’s entrants: Due to there being a shorter process for trials in this age group – your first installment of your Championship fees will be reduced to acknowledge this. Those who not make a team in this age group will be refunded in full.
