Junior Domestic Singlet Recall

Wildcat Saturday Junior Domestic Families,

Barry Plant has been a long time supporter of the Eltham Wildcats Basketball Club led by one of their Directors in Jamin Silluzio and several past juniors of the club. Jamin and his team have made the decision as of October 1st 2017, to align their business with Jellis Craig. As a result, as of October 1st, Jellis Craig will be a major sponsor of the club, replacing Barry Plant.

A significant concern that Jamin and his team alongside management of the Wildcats have been working through, is placing Jellis Craig logos across all domestic singlets; on both red and black sides. This is a significant task to undertake by all parties. Jellis Craig are covering the full cost of new patches for both sides of the singlets and having them professionally sewn on to provide no cost or work for Wildcat families.

All we ask of our families is to bring their domestic singlets to the Eltham High School basketball stadium between 4-7pm only from Tuesday 26th -Thursday 28th September orMonday 2nd -Friday 6th October.

Jellis Craig will take the singlets away on a daily basis to have the patches sewn onto both sides of the singlet. We ask that you give the sewing team at least two days before returning for collection of the singlet. If you are buying a new singlet, it will already have the patches sewn onto the singlet.

Some simple requests to avoid confusion of singlets:

– Please place your singlet into a plastic bag (one bag per singlet)

– Mark clearly on the bag, the player’s name, singlet number and size of singlet

– You’ll be asked to sign upon dropping off the singlets and once again asked to sign upon collection

We have taken this approach, so there is no additional cost for families and to try and have as many of the 6,500 patches sewn on as possible before the new season begins.

Should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call the office on 9439 5686.
