Online Holiday Programs

Due to COVID-19 lockdown our popular School Holiday programs have moved online for the September School Holidays. These programs are FREE of charge and cater to all abilities and a wide age range (3 year olds all the way through to 17) so there is something for everyone. All are welcome.

Programs will be held via Zoom. All you need is a small space and a ball to participate.

Junior Championship (U12/U14) Basketball Session

This one hour basketball skills session is targeted at elite current Junior Championship and Junior Domestic players wanting to try out for the 2022 season. Participants will learn and practice skills vital to playing at the Championship level while also helping prepare players for tryouts in the comfort of their own home. Run by Eltham Wildcat Junior Championship Head Coaches.

Kinder Club Basketball Session

The Kinder Club basketball holiday session will teach basic basketball skills/rules while adopting fine motor skill development for children 2 – 4 years of age. The thirty minute session will be a great opportunity for current Kinder Club players to learn and practice more skills while serving as a great introduction to the program for new participants. The session will be fun and engaging to help get your little one active at home. New players welcome.

Junior Domestic (U8/U10) Basketball Session

This Junior Domestic basketball skills session is suitable for U8 & U10 junior domestic players who want to practice their skills while learning new moves to help improve their game. Prepare for a return to basketball with this one hour skills session coached by Wildcat players & coaches.

Ballers Not Fallers (OHL Jumping & Landing Session)

Celina from the Optimal Health Lab will be running through the basics of jumping mechanics and how to improve your technique. You will be going through a basic exercise program that will aim to preventing injuries during basketball and improve performance.

Become more explosive with this fun and engaging session that will have participants performing a number of double and single leg jumping exercises to improve their vertical leap and landing technique. Not only will you learn how to reduce your risk of injury but you will train your body to help improve finishing at the ring and blocking shots. The perfect way to prepare for a return to junior domestic basketball and junior championship tryouts.

Introductory basketball session for beginners aged between 5-10. The Cub Squad program is perfect for current and new players who want to practice their skills at home during lockdown. The session will be fun and engaging to help get your child active at home. New players welcome.
