The Wildcats hit the road to take on the Geelong Supercats in a special Easter double header on Saturday night. After a close first half the Supercats took over the game in the third and fourth periods behind their recently drafted WNBA player Ezi Magbegor (21 points). Wildcats import Maggie Mulligan had her best game of the season to day with an 18 point 11 rebound double-double while Eltham Juniors Meg Stagoll, Olivia Wightman, Paige Cantone and Kiara Mountford all experienced valuable court time.

After an impressive first half Geelong put away the Wildcats at the start of third period with a 17-6 scoring run to start the quarter. Geelong amassed an incredible 16 steals as their full court pressure defence was too much for the Wildcats to handle. Eltham won the final period 21-19 but it wouldn’t be enough as the Wildcats lost their third game of the season.
