The Senior Women continue to go from strength to strength signing 6’1 forward Brigitte O’Neill for the 2019 inaugural Elite League season.
O’Neill attended the University of Idaho where the experience taught her about discipline and how to learn and adapt in a professional program. Renowned for her ability to shoot the 3 and get after the boards Coach Grant Spencer believes she can contribute in many ways.
“I’m rapt I was able to secure Brigitte. A college experienced athlete with length and great all-round ability who had a fantastic year in the Big V competition last season. She will bring knowledge and leadership to the group which will be very important for us”.
Brigitte is a great team player and will bring a lot of energy to the Wildcats this year.
“I’m really excited to play for Eltham this year in the new Elite League. It’s a great opportunity to compete with some of the best athletes in Victoria. Go Wildcats!” O’Neill said.
