The Optimal Health Lab Extends Partnership

The Eltham Wildcats Basketball Club is delighted to announce that the Optimal Health Lab have extended their partnership with the Eltham Wildcats until 2025. This continued collaboration signifies a commitment to promoting health and wellness within our Wildcat community while supporting the development of Wildcat athletes across all levels of participation.

OHL will continue to support our Walking Basketball program which is a is a low impact, social and fun way to improve physical activity for older inactive Australians. The support of OHL will ensure the program continues running free of charge for our local community.

The Wildcats partnered with OHL in 2019 and for the last five years the partnership has flourished with OHL providing our Wildcat community with injury prevention & triage workshops, correct warm up and injury prevention sessions, a ‘Virtual Physio Hub’ (available at elthamwildcats.com.au) and provided free online workshops during and post COVID lockdowns for our members to stay active and return to sport.

The partnership between the OHL and the Eltham Wildcats has already provided significant benefits for players, coaches, parents and staff alike.

“We are grateful for the ongoing support of the Optimal Health Lab,” said Jordan Canovan, Business Manager of the Eltham Wildcats. “Their dedication to supporting the local community and promoting health and wellness aligns perfectly with our values as a club. Together, we are committed to providing our community with the best resources they need to succeed both on and off the court.”

OHL Director Lauren McLinden (nee Campbell) expressed her passion and connection to the local community.

“The Optimal Heath Lab was founded and is directed by local siblings Andrew Campbell and myself. We are proud to say we are true locals being born and bred in Eltham!

“Part of the joy of sponsoring a club like the Wildcats, as a local business, is knowing your part of a cycle of support that you can pay forward to the business which supported your local sporting stories.”

Stay tuned for more initiatives and exclusive resources the OHL will be providing our Eltham Wildcat community for the next two years.
